Author Guidelines
1. Submission Overview
All manuscripts must be submitted in English and represent original work not previously published or under consideration elsewhere. Submissions should include a Title Page, Abstract (max 250 words), Keywords, and the Main Text.
2. Formatting and Style
-
File Format: Please submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX format.
-
Typography: Use a standard 12-point font (e.g., Times New Roman or Arial) with double-spacing.
-
Citations: Follow the [e.g., APA 7th Edition / IEEE / Vancouver] style for in-text citations and the reference list.
3. Figures and Illustrations
Figures must be high-resolution (at least 300 DPI) and submitted as separate files (TIFF, JPEG, or EPS) or embedded clearly within the text for initial review.
-
Originality: Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission to reuse any figures previously published elsewhere.
-
Ethical Imaging Standards: > Strict Prohibition of Non-Inclusive/Copyrighted Test Images: To maintain the highest ethical and professional standards, this journal prohibits the use of copyrighted or historically controversial images. Specifically, the "Lenna" (or "Lena") image is strictly forbidden. >
We encourage authors to use modern, open-source, and diverse datasets (e.g., Kodak, McMaster, or standard USC-SIPI alternatives) that do not carry the copyright or social baggage associated with legacy test images.
4. Data Availability
Authors are encouraged to share their underlying data and code. A Data Availability Statement must be included at the end of the manuscript, detailing where the data can be accessed or why it cannot be shared.
5. Ethical Considerations
-
Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could inappropriately influence their work.
-
Human/Animal Rights: Studies involving human participants or animals must include a statement of approval from an institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee.
6. Peer Review Process
This journal operates a double-blind peer review process. Ensure that the main manuscript file does not contain author names or affiliations to maintain anonymity during the review.
